19-20.5.2011: Birds and sheep: Birds fly about half meter above the sheep in catching mosquito’s close to the sheep. They do also sit on the ground close to the sheep when sheep graze at the meadow. Mostly it seem to be thrushes. The sheep do not pay any notice to the birds.
19.5.2011: Most of the young sheep lined up on a line behind the fence to look at the cat. Lambs show great interest in the cat. Immediately as the cat enter the meadow the sheep start to pay interest into it. The cat let them come pretty close to himself and when they nearly touch him he run away. The neighbour visited with his small dog. All sheep showed interest in the dog. Both were affraid of each other. A lot of mosquitos. For one hour ( aoub 17.30-18.30) I had to put the sheep inside until a wind raised which lowered the amount of mosquitos in the air.
